House On The Rock Bauchi Hosts Gospel Concert

House on the Rock Church in Yelwa axis of Bauchi metropolis has hosted a Denominational Gospel Concert for musicians and singers across the country with a view to foster unity and peaceful coexistence in the country.

In a News briefing, the convener of the concert and Lead Pastor of House on the Rock Church, Mike Akor, said the aim was to ensure unity of the Gospel Musicians and singers devoid of any pretence.

Pastor Akor said the participants were drawn from different Christian denominations to include ECWA, COCIN, Catholic Mass Choir and Zumatan Mata.

Also speaking, a veteran Gospel Musicians, Drink Panam Paul said both the singers and musicians from across the country’s regional divide, came together to speak with one voice of peaceful coexistence for Bauchi State, the North East and Nigeria in general.

Dr Panam Paul who is about fifty years in Gospel Music said the best way to influence people was to be consistently available to them and that made him to be a collection of knowledge and history in his sixty years of existence.

On her part, a Bauchi based Gospel singer, Aisa Akapson who described Zamar as a very timely and prophetic event which opened up Bauchi city to be great like never before, commended the organizers for actualising the event.

The event which was conducted between 7pm of last Friday to 7am Saturday has in attendance gospel singers and musicians from across the country with the theme Zamar.

The Zamar Gospel Concert saw award winners to include artists and singers such as Ibi Dave, Minister Aisa Akapson, Minister Femi Praise, Evelyn Ernest, Grace Yunusa, Micah Daniel, Godstime Okorie and host of others.
