Independence Day: Nigerians urged to propel country towards economic prosperity.

Nigerians residing within and abroad have been advised to remain steadfast and support the country actualise its vision of becoming a world economic hub.
The Country’s Ambassador to Malaysia and Brunei Dr Hajara Ibrahim Salim made the call in a message through her Special Assistant Ishaq Gambo Magaji to mark this year’s Independence Day anniversary.
Dr Hajara Salim said Nigeria as a nation has talented and productive citizens across the world who excelled in their various fields of endeavour, hence the need for them to help the country reach its full potential.
According to her, the sixty first independence Anniversary is an opportunity to reflect on the challenges and gains recorded towards harnessing enough manpower and resources in pushing the country to economic prosperity.
She reminded them about the reselience of the nation’s founding fathers and the foundation to which they established it, and called on well meaning Nigerians to ensure the legacy survives.
The Malaysian Ambassador further used the medium to wish President Muhammadu Buhari, Governor Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe State and all Nigerians within and outside the country happy sixty first independence day and a peaceful celebration.
