Goniri express optimism about the initiative, emphasizing that the 2,000 metric tons of assorted grains will be distributed to people of the state during the off-season or in case of emergencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The commissioner revealed that government has also procured assorted agrochemicals, which will be distributed to support irrigation farming and vegetable cultivation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He announced plans to provide cassava stems to farmers, to promote cassava farming in the state, noting the economic importance, medicinal purposes, and natural food ingredients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Radio Nigeria Correspondent Abdulazeez Mala reports that the commissioner commended the present administration&#8217;s unwavering commitment to support the agricultural sector, underscoring its dedication to enhancing food security and empowering farmers.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Abdulaziz Mala The Yobe State government has procured 2,000 metric tons of assorted Grains for Strategic plan Reserve, to be distributed during the off-season or in case of emergencies.
