{"id":1597,"date":"2025-05-19T17:27:32","date_gmt":"2025-05-19T17:27:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/radionigerianortheast.gov.ng\/?p=1597"},"modified":"2025-05-19T17:27:37","modified_gmt":"2025-05-19T17:27:37","slug":"police-arrest-notorious-cattle-rustler-kidnapper","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/radionigerianortheast.gov.ng\/?p=1597","title":{"rendered":"Police Arrest Notorious Cattle Rustler, Kidnapper."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By Aliyu Umar Maraki<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Operatives of the State Criminal Investigation Department of Nasarawa Police Command SCID have arrested kidnapper at Shinge Market, Lafia based on intelligence report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The suspect, who has been on the Command\u2019s wanted list for an extended period due to the multiple offences including kidnapping and cattle rustling, was successfully apprehended.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Upon interrogation, the suspect confessed to the crimes and led officers to his hideout at Ruwan Baka village, Doma Local Government Area where one AK-49 rifle Breach No. 453144 and a magazine were recovered in his possession.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The success comes few days after the arrest of Fatima Salisu, who was intercepted while transporting a cache of ammunition from Doma to Katsina State, intended for criminal elements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Commissioner of Police, CP Shattima Jauro Mohammed, reaffirms the Command&#8217;s unwavering commitment to rooting out crime and ensure safety and security of all residents across Nasarawa State.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He urge the public to remain vigilant and report suspicious activities as the Police will continue to work tirelessly to make the communities safer.<br>Rel\/Aliyu Muraki\/Lafia.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Aliyu Umar Maraki Operatives of the State Criminal Investigation Department of Nasarawa Police Command SCID have arrested kidnapper at Shinge Market, Lafia based on intelligence report.
