{"id":1643,"date":"2025-05-23T14:52:09","date_gmt":"2025-05-23T14:52:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/radionigerianortheast.gov.ng\/?p=1643"},"modified":"2025-05-23T14:52:13","modified_gmt":"2025-05-23T14:52:13","slug":"nahcon-successfully-airlifts-over-36000-nigerian-pilgrims-to-saudi-arabia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/radionigerianortheast.gov.ng\/?p=1643","title":{"rendered":"NAHCON Successfully Airlifts Over 36,000 Nigerian Pilgrims to Saudi Arabia."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mubarak Mahmood<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria NAHCON has successfully transported over 36,000 Nigerian pilgrims to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the 2025 Hajj exercise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This was disclosed by the Commission\u2019s Assistant Director of Information and Publication, Hajiya Fatima Sanda Usara in an official statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She confirmed that the Commission aims to complete its airlift operations by 30th May.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to her, as of the time of the report, approximately 5,494 pilgrims under the government quota were still awaiting airlift.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In response to logistical delays, the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, in collaboration with designated service providers has called for the immediate resolution of all outstanding issues to ensure a smooth continuation of the pilgrimage process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">NAHCON Chairman, Professor Abdullahi Saleh, expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for the successes recorded so far and prayed for continued progress throughout the Hajj season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He also extended appreciation to the Commission\u2019s various stakeholders for their contributions and commended the pilgrims for their patience and orderly conduct.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mubarak Mahmood The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria NAHCON has successfully transported over 36,000 Nigerian pilgrims to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the 2025 Hajj exercise.
