{"id":1707,"date":"2025-05-29T12:03:15","date_gmt":"2025-05-29T12:03:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/radionigerianortheast.gov.ng\/?p=1707"},"modified":"2025-05-29T12:03:19","modified_gmt":"2025-05-29T12:03:19","slug":"nahcon-successfully-concludes-airlift-of-pilgrims-for-2025-hajj","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/radionigerianortheast.gov.ng\/?p=1707","title":{"rendered":"NAHCON Successfully Concludes Airlift of Pilgrims for 2025 Hajj"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By Mubarak Mahmood<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria NAHCON has successfully completed the airlift of pilgrims to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the 2025 Hajj operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This was disclosed by the Chairman of the Commission, Professor Abdullahi Usman, during a press briefing at the Pilgrims\u2019 Terminal of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Professor Usman expressed satisfaction with the smooth execution of the airlift exercise, commending the dedication and coordination of the Commission\u2019s staff, airline operators and partner agencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He emphasized NAHCON\u2019s unwavering commitment to ensuring the welfare, safety and timely transportation of all Nigerian pilgrims.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He noted that this year\u2019s airlift began earlier in May and involved the coordination of thousands of pilgrims across various states.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to him, the second phase of outbound flights is expected to commence shortly, as the Commission transitions into the next stage of the Hajj operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Chairman assured the public that NAHCON remains focused on maintaining operational efficiency and delivering quality services throughout the pilgrimage season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The press briefing marks a significant milestone in the Commission\u2019s ongoing activities for the 2025 Hajj.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Mubarak Mahmood The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria NAHCON has successfully completed the airlift of pilgrims to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the 2025 Hajj operations.
