{"id":1953,"date":"2025-06-27T18:08:09","date_gmt":"2025-06-27T18:08:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/radionigerianortheast.gov.ng\/?p=1953"},"modified":"2025-06-27T18:08:17","modified_gmt":"2025-06-27T18:08:17","slug":"taraba-state-governor-donates-10-million-naira-to-specialist-hospital","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/radionigerianortheast.gov.ng\/?p=1953","title":{"rendered":"Taraba State Governor Donates 10 million naira to Specialist Hospital."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By Akanta Hannah <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Taraba State Governor, Dr. Agbu Kefas has donated the sum of 10 million naira to procure medications for the pharmacy unit of the state specialist hospital, Jalingo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Governor who made the donation when he visited the facility said he was there to personally assess the condition of the hospital and take necessary actions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Governor kefas directed the hospital management to use the medications to treat patients who can not afford to purchase them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He promised that henceforth, he would make monthly donations to the hospital to support indigent patients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Speaking to Journalists, Chief Medical Director of the hospital, Dr. Alex Maiangwa described the Governor&#8217;s visit as impactful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dr. Maiangwa disclosed that the Governor had before now renovated and upgraded the facility&#8217;s dental unit to a world-class standard, pledging that other departments would be upgraded in no distant time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Chief Medical Director thanked Governor Kefas for his intervention, pointing out that he had instructed the hospital management to submit a comprehensive list of urgent needs to the state government by next week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Akanta Hannah Taraba State Governor, Dr. Agbu Kefas has donated the sum of 10 million naira to procure medications for the pharmacy unit of the state specialist hospital, Jalingo.
