The North East Development Commission NEDC has expressed satisfaction with the ongoing installation of solar panels at Radio Nigeria Jewel FM Gombe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Coordinator Gombe State office of the Commission, Architect Usman Muhammad, gave the commendation while inspecting the level of work at the station\u2019s premises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Architect Usman Muhammad explained that upon completion, the project would significantly reduce the station\u2019s dependence on the national electricity supply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Muhammad urged the management of Jewel FM to safeguard the facilities against vandalism, assuring that the NEDC remains committed to strengthening its partnership with the station.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He also revealed that similar projects are being executed at other Radio Nigeria FM stations across the North East to enhance service delivery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On his part the General Manager of Radio Nigeria Jewel FM, Mallam Zubairu Ahmad Kumo, expressed gratitude to the Commission for what he described as a landmark intervention across six Radio Nigeria FM stations in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He said the initiative would ease the station’s cost and enhance operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
