No fewer than 26 postgraduate students sponsored by the Deputy Senate President, Senator Barau Jibrin, have returned to Nigeria after successfully completing their postgraduate studies in India.<\/p>\n
The scholars, who specialized in forensic science and cybersecurity, arrived at the Aminu Kano International Airport where they were warmly received by their parents, relatives, and well-wishers.<\/p>\n
Speaking during a brief reception at the Airport ,The Special Adviser on Policy to the Deputy Senate President, Professor Bashir Mohammad Fagge, commended Senator Barau Jibrin for his foresight and commitment to human capital development. <\/p>\n
He described the scholarship initiative as a strategic investment in the future and urged the graduates to serve as worthy ambassadors of the programme.<\/p>\n
Professor Fagge also encouraged the beneficiaries to prepare for the next phase of the initiative, which will focus on PhD programmes, stressing the need for continuous academic advancement.<\/p>\n
In his remarks, the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Gari Local Government Area, Alhaji Shitu Madaki, congratulated the graduates on their achievement.<\/p>\n
He urged them to apply the knowledge and skills acquired abroad toward the development of Kano North, Kano State, and Nigeria as a whole.<\/p>\n
Also speaking, the Deputy Senate President, Senator Barau Jibrin, who was represented by his Chief of Staff, Professor Mohammad Ibn Abdallah, expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for the successful completion of the programme. <\/p>\n
He recalled the send-off ceremony held for the students before their departure to India and noted that their success had brought pride to their families, the state, and the nation.<\/p>\n
He further stated that the students received consistent financial support throughout their stay abroad and charged them to utilize their expertise in contributing meaningfully to national development.<\/p>\n
Speaking on behalf of the Graduates, Aliyu Ibrahim expressed their appreciation to the Deputy Senate president Senator Barau jibrin for the Scholarship,and Assured that they will not let the confidence repose on the down.<\/p>\n
Alhaji Jibrin Baba on behalf of the parents of the graduands thanked senator Barau jibrin,and prayed to Almighty Allah to reward him abundantly.<\/p>\n
