A non-governmental organization, Sharing Education for Life and Learning (SELL), has organized a workshop for couples in Bauchi aimed at strengthening family cohesion as a foundation for lasting peace in society.<\/p>\n
The Coordinator of the organization, Mr. Benjamin Jibe, stated that workshop was designed to bring about enduring peace through stronger family units.<\/p>\n
He emphasized that a society built on family cohesion can effectively combat social vices and foster positive changes among couples, which would ultimately be reflected in the wider community.<\/p>\n
Mr. Jibe further disclosed that the foundation has also been empowering women and youth through training in Smart Agriculture.<\/p>\n
This initiative, he explained, is to expose them to various modern farming activities to help families achieve bumper harvests despite the challenges posed by climate change.<\/p>\n
In separate interviews, some of the participants Kasim Aliyu and Grace Yunusa, described the training as timely.<\/p>\n
