The founder and convener of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement, Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, has expressed confidence in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu\u2019s economic reforms, saying the policies are gaining increasing support nationwide.<\/p>\n
Ekpemupolo stated this while speaking with journalists at the Kano State Government House, where he expressed confidence in the President\u2019s economic policies and ongoing infrastructure projects.<\/p>\n
According to him, President Tinubu has demonstrated the political will and boldness required to implement economic reforms, including the removal of fuel subsidies and changes to the foreign exchange system.<\/p>\n
He said the reforms, alongside the administration\u2019s infrastructure development initiatives, had continued to attract support from political leaders, including several state governors.<\/p>\n
Ekpemupolo also highlighted major infrastructure projects in Northern Nigeria, including the Ajaokuta-Kaduna-Kano (AKK) gas pipeline, the proposed railway development and the ongoing rehabilitation of the Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport.<\/p>\n
He described the projects as significant interventions that could contribute to economic growth, improve transportation and expand development opportunities in the region.<\/p>\n
The political mobilisation movement also pointed to the defection of several state governors to the All Progressives Congress (APC) as an indication of growing political support for President Tinubu\u2019s administration.<\/p>\n
Ekpemupolo said the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement was intensifying efforts to expand its presence across the country ahead of the 2027 presidential election.<\/p>\n
He disclosed that the organisation planned to establish state chapters across Northern and Southern Nigeria to strengthen its grassroots mobilisation activities.<\/p>\n
According to him, the movement would also appoint coordinators at the ward and polling-unit levels to engage households and mobilise support for the President.<\/p>\n
He said the organisation was determined to reach every household as part of its nationwide campaign strategy.<\/p>\n
Ekpemupolo expressed confidence in the movement\u2019s mobilisation efforts, projecting that President Tinubu could secure at least 70 per cent of the votes in every state during the 2027 presidential election.<\/p>\n
He maintained that the movement would continue to expand its grassroots structures and engage Nigerians in support of the President\u2019s re-election bid.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
