{"id":836,"date":"2025-02-24T16:54:56","date_gmt":"2025-02-24T16:54:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/radionigerianortheast.gov.ng\/?p=836"},"modified":"2025-02-24T16:55:01","modified_gmt":"2025-02-24T16:55:01","slug":"gov-namadi-pledges-to-train-youths-in-wheat-cultivation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/radionigerianortheast.gov.ng\/?p=836","title":{"rendered":"Gov Namadi Pledges To Train Youths In Wheat Cultivation"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By Usman Muhammad Zaria <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jigawa State Government has pledged to train youths engaged in wheat cultivation in the Birnin Kudu local government area of the state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Governor Umar Namadi made the pledge during an inspection visit to wheat farms in the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He commended the Chairman of the local council, Dr Muhammad Uba Builder for the initiative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Malam Umar Namadi described the initiative introduced by the Chairman as a tool for providing job opportunities for youths and boosting agricultural production in the state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While on inspection visit to the new water solar powered site in Birnin kudu,Governor Umar Namadi directed the immediate fencing and construction of a security guard office at the new site of the Birnin Kudu solar-powered water supply scheme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The State Commissioner for Water Resources, Alhaji Ibrahim Garba Hannun Giwa, informed the Governor that seventeen boreholes have already been drilled at the site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In his speech ,the Council chairman , Alhaji Muhammad Uba, explained that the council has engaged about 170 youths in wheat cultivation to complement the state government\u2019s efforts in ensuring food security and economic well-being for the people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Usman Muhammad Zaria Jigawa State Government has pledged to train youths engaged in wheat cultivation in the Birnin Kudu local government area of the state.
