INEC commences distribution of PVC at 484 wards of Kano

Independent National electoral commission has commences the distribution of permanent voter cards at ward levels in all parts of the federation.
Kano state has 484 wards across the 44 local government areas of the state.
Ahmad Maulud the is the public relations officer of the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC in Kano said the collection of permanent voters cards has commenced in Kano and will be ongoing for ten Days.
He said INEC had already mapped out strategies for ensuring that the collectioPVCsthe PVCs achieved success.
Maulud noted that list of names for each ward has been made available to ensure that every eligible voter register receives his PVC.
Radio Nigeria visited some of the wards in the metropolitan, Sadiq Sani may Nagge Ward and Mujahid Ibrahim from Dorayi ward was among the eligible voters who received their PVCs at their wards, they applauded the efforts of INEC for taking the distribution PVCs up to ward level.
At most of the ward visited,officials of the INEC arrived early, and people Qued orderly to collect their PVCs.
The collection of PVC At ward levels is expected to ongoing for the next nine days.
