Speaker Kano state house of assembly, Alhaji Hamisu Ibrahim Chidari has charged Muslims to intensify prayers for peaceful coexistance and economic development of the nation.
In a statement signed by director press and public affairs,Kano state house of assembly,Malam Uba Abdullahi and made available to Radio Nigeria in Kano.
The speaker described Ramadan as a sacred month as such there was the urgent need for Muslim faithfuls to seek for blessings and forgiveness as well as divine intervention on problems bedevilling the country.
While commending people of the state especially the emirate councils for their commitment and dedication in moving the state forward.
He reaffirmed the state governments readiness in mapping out policies and programs aimed at uplifting the standard of living among people.
Similarly, the clerk and head of legislative services Kano state house of assembly,Alhaji Garba Bako Gezawa has expressed satisfaction with the cordial relationship between the executive and legislative arm of government in the state.
He said the lawmakers dedication in making laws that touched the lives of the people is a clear indication of unity and progress of the state and entire nation.
