Kano Cancer Center to be Commissioned Soon – Mohammad Garba.
The kano state Commissioner for Information Comrade Mohammad Garba says the ongoing project of ultra modern Cancer center at Giginyu in Nassarawa local Government Area has reached eighty percent completion and would be Commissioned Soon by Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.
Comrade Mohammad Garba stated this during an exclusive interview with Radio Nigeria in Kano.
He said the Cancer center was one of the key legacy projects being initiated by the Administration of Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.
The Commissioner explained that the Equipments have been purchased Hundred Percent ,while the major ones have already arrived kano from London .
“The issue of cancer center is not a project that would be rushed ,because we want a quality project,by the plan of the project you cannot bring the equipment at one time,some of the equipment were being installed asthe project progresses , the project is going according plan,I assure you that if we are unable to commissioned the project by December ,I would be Commissioned by the first quota of Next year”.
Comrade Mohammad Garba maintained that uplifting the health Status of the General populace of the state was among the Cardinal objectives of the Gandujes Administration.
Radio Nigeria Recalled that the 5 billion Naira project was Designed to Accommodate World Class Facilities for Both Radiotheraphy and Chemotherapy Cancer treatment.
When Completed the First State Government Owned Cancer center in the Country would reduce madical Tourism Abroad.
