Kano polytechnic Achieved Success in Academic Excellence – Rector.
The Rector Kano state polytechnic Dr Kabiru Bello Dungurawa say the institution has Achieved maximum Success interms of academic Excellence in the last twelve months .
Dr Kabiru Bello Dungurawa stated this during a media Briefing held in Kano.
He said since his assumption as the in office as the Provost of the institution,he had set Mechanism in place in ensuring maximum Academic Excellence was fully Achieved in the institution.
The Rector maitained that the management of the polytechnic set a Committee to Scrutinized all the Departments of the institution and advised appropriately on proper placement of personnel of institution with the aim of ensuring effective service delivery.
“The Commitee has already completed it’s assignment and has submitted report to the Management, as I am talking to you know proper placement according to decipline and professional standards has been adopted in the polytechnic,and the gesture has started yielding positive results”
Dr Kabiru Bello Dungurawa noted that in effort to ensure improved health among the staff of the institution and even the neighboring Community,the Polytechnic Clinic has been upgraded to Standard,aimed at Ensuring that the health Standard was improved.
He further explained that over five hundred chairs and tables has been provided in all the lecture theatres and Hall geared towards ensuring condusive atmosphere for Teaching and learning in the institution.
The Rector Applauded the support Accorded to the Polytechnic by the state Government,saying the Reconstructing of department of cooperative which was gutted by fire last year was nearly compelition .
Dr Kabiru Bello Dungurawa said the management of the institution has provided condusive atmosphere for ensuring prompt compilation of results for countinuing and graduating students, aimed at boosting the morale of the Students .
The Rector stated that the institution in in collaboration with some corporative Organizations was working asidiously in ensuring that more lecture theatres and other facilities were provided in the institution.
He added that over fourty causes were awaiting accreditation from the National board for technical education , Saying all the necessary arrangements have completed by the institution aimed at Ensuring that all the Courses Achieved maximum Accreditation.
