Kano state government (KNSG), says preparations were in top gear, for the commencement of mass wedding for one thousand couples, under the state hisbah board.
The newly appointed commander general of the board, Sheikh Aminu Ibrahim Daurawa, made the disclosure shortly after assuming duty, at hisbah headquarters sharada Kano.
According to him, the state government, under the leadership.of Engineer Abba Kabir Yusuf was committed to uplifting the standards of living, among people, through policies and programs.
He maintained that, various committees would be inaugurated to ensure the success of the mass wedding,saying that, each local government area, would receive 20 nomination forms.
Sheikh Aminu Daurawa stressed that, doors are open to receive donations, from philanthropists and wealthy individuals, willing to contribute their quota, towards the actualization of the wedding.
The commander general pointed out that, Kano state hisbah board would not relent in it’s efforts, of sanitizing Kano free of all forms of vices.
He charged hisbah personal to redouble their efforts in discharging their responsibilities to achieve the desired objectives.
Radio Nigeria reports that, Sheikh Aminu Ibrahim Daurawa, has served as commander general Kano state hisbah board, during the tenure of Senator Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje and now appointed to the same position for the third time, by the incumbent governor Engineer Abba Kabir Yusuf.
