The new Theatre Commander Joint Task Force North East Operation Hadin Kai, Major General Ibrahim Sambo Ali has pledged to continue from where his Predecessor departs.
Major General Ibrahim Sambo Ali stated this when he took over the mantle leadership of the Command at the handing and taking over ceremony held at Maimalari Cantonment Maiduguri.
The new Theatre Commander said from what he had seen in the Theatre, the outgoing Commander had subjugated weighty proportion of the insurgents and warned the sporadic recalcitrants to seccumb or face severe consequences.
He explained that the confidence bestowed upon him by the Chief of Army Staff for the new task shall be justified by the holistic approaches towards Counter Insurgency and Terrorism Operations.
The outgoing Theatre Commander, Major General Christopher Musa described the experiences of over twenty months of his stay in the Theatre as inspiring and thanked the entire Officers and Men of the Theatre for their support which he according to him propelled to the feat.
Major General Christopher Musa prayed that the new T C performed much better than he performed.
