Media Organisations in Bauchi State restate resolve to support Women and Girls to realise their potentials.

Media stakeholders in Bauchi State have resolve to support organisations working towards protecting the rights of Women and girls and their involvement in decision making for the overall development of the society.

One of them and General Manager Albarka Radio Bauchi Mr Dauda Ciroma made their position known while receiving the Bauchi State UN Women ‘He for She’ advocates in his office.

Dauda Ciroma said women and girls are the most vulnerable and always at the receiving end during conflicts, hence the need for all and sundry to join the campaign to enable them have sense of belonging.

Earlier, the State Coordinator UN women ‘He for She’ Mr Jinjiri Garba said the visit was to intimate the management of the Radio station about their activities and to solicit for support towards uplifting women to realize their potentials.

Mr Jinjiri Garba who commended the station for its effort towards the development of the society also presented a copy of the UN Women, Peace and Security State Action Plan document to the management.
