Muslims in Bauchi state have been urged to make sacrifice towards the development of Islam and humanity.

The chairman Ummah Progressive Society Malam Attahiru Bakoji who made the call at a preaching session organized by the association at Masjid Ma’awuya Ibn Abisiyan Jumaat Mosque Jahun identified sacrifice, dedication and contribution as some factors that would develop Islam and humanity.
Malam Attahiru Bakoji explained that Muslims are expected to engage in act that would attract Allah’s reward and blessing hence the need for them to contribute in that direction.
He said Islam does not encourage redundancy and laziness and wondered why some Muslims refuse to seek for means of livelihood but depend on begging.
The UPS chairman said the association has carried out many humanitarian activities as well as contributions towards Islamic activities and urged other organizations to emulate.
Earlier in a preaching, an Islamic preacher in Bauchi Munkaila Sulaiman Adamu and Lubatu Muhammed who stressed the importance of masjids on the earth urged Muslims to take good use of the mosque.
In a remark the Chief Imam of the mosque Malam Ibrahim said the preaching has gingered them to engage in humanitarian activities as well contribute to the development of Islam.
