New Jama’are Emir Pledges To Be Just For All.

The new Emir of Jama’are in Bauchi State Alhaji Nuhu Ahmed Wabi, the tenth has assured commitment to do justice to all people of the Emirate without fear or favour.

He gave the assurance in an interview with journalists at his personal residence in Jama’are after receiving his appointment letter delivered by the Secretary to the State Government Alhaji Ibrahim Khashim.

Alhaji Nuhu Ahmed Wabi who was one of the contenders to the stool, said Allah Almighty has chosen him not because he was better, but for the fact that he was destined to assend the throne.

He solicited for maximum support and cooperation from the people of Jama’are Emirate to enable him deliver on his mandate.

The new Emir who appreciated people of the Emirate for their prayers, pledged to do all within his powers to bring about the needed development to the area.

The National Secretary and Public Relations Officer, Jama’are Emirate Development Forum, Malam Rabi’u Ya’u said the installation of the new Emir did not come as a surprise to many because it was what they were yearning for since the demise of the late Emir twenty two days ago.

Alhaji Nuhu Ahmed Wabi, who was born in 1961, attended Central Primary School Jama’are and proceeded to Kuranga Secondary School Azare, then to SBRS Funtua and later moved to University of Jos where he obtained his first degree in Sociology.

He started his working career with the Bauchi state ministry of Works and retired as Permanent Secretary in the State Civil Service.

Radio Nigeria Correspondent Murtala Muhammad recollects that the new Emir holds the title of Yarima and District Head of Jama’are before his ascension to the throne.

The news of the appointment of Alhaji Nuhu Ahmed Wabi as the tenth Emir of Jama’are drew jubilations from both young and old people of the emirate.
