NIGERIA ARMY: 33 Artillery Brigade Bauchi Organise end of the year Social activities

The headquarters 33 Artillery Brigade Bauchi has organize annual west Africa Social Activities WASA to mark the end of 2021 training year and usher the activities new year 2022.
Speaking during the ceremony the Brigade commander Brigadier General Mukhtar Adamu said the event provide means for improving civil military relations by inviting public to socialize with the military community.
Brigadier Mukhtar Adamu emphases that the Brigade use the period to reward deserving soldiers who excel in displine, hard work and dedicative to duties.
He acknowledge the sacrifice of troops deployed across area of operations of 33 Artillery Brigade to ensure security of lives and property.
The Brigade Commander assured that the Brigade would continue to ensure security and safety of all low abiding citizens and deal decisively with criminals element in the society.
“The WASA is an age-long tradition practice in the Nigeria Army inherited its rich custume and tradition as well as noble code of ethics from British Army”
Brigadier General Adamu explain further that in line with the Chief of Army Staff vision of a professional Nigeria Army ready to accomplish assigned mission within a joint environment in defense of Nigeria, the Army would surely overcome the present security challenges in the country.
Brigadier General Adamu urge the security agencies to continue being positive, supportive and professional in their conduct.
“As you are aware the Nigeria Army is deployed with tremendous successes in various theatres of operation across the country to ensure lasting peace and security.
Its therefore most appropriate for us to be grateful to God Almighty for bringing the officers and soldiers of the Nigeria Army in general and this Brigade in particular thus far while also recognizing our fallen heroes who paid the supreme sacrifice in the defense of our father land. May their gentle soul rest in peace ”
In his speech the Governor of Bauchi state Bala Muhammad commended the Nigeria Army for protecting the territorial integrity of Nigeria
assured that the state government would not relent in providing logistic support in ensuring conducive working environment for the officers and men in the state.
Bala Muhammad represented by his Security Adviser Brigadier General Marku Yake said the event would go a long way in consolidating the existing harmonies relationship among divers’ ethnic groups in the barrack .
Highlight of the events include presentation of award and different cultural dances.
