Nigeria Police Arrests 4 Suspected Kidnappers In Jigawa

Nigerian Police Force has called on the general public to continue partnering with the police in the fight against crime and criminalities.
The Jigawa state commissioner of police Emmanuel Effot Effiong made the call at a press briefing while parading some suspects at the command’s headquarters in Dutse.
He said the command officers and men are always ready to ensure the state remains peaceful and crime free.
He said that the command has successfully arrested some kidnap syndicate suspects in Jigawa and Bauchi states.
According to him, the suspects have been charged to court.
Effot Effiong further explained that, the command also arrested some suspects for criminal conspiracy as well as illegal possession of fire arms among others.
He pointed out that, among those arrested include some drug peddlers in possession of different drugs.
The CP added that the case has been transferred to the state CID for further investigation.
He said the command is committed to protecting the lives and property in the state.
He therefore urged residents to partner with the police in ensuring the state is crime free.
Some items recovered by the command include arms and ammunition, one motorcycle, assorted charms, Indian hemp, drugs among others.
