NIGERIANS HAVE BEEN URGED TO MAINTAIN THE HISTORIC STRUCTURES PUT IN PLACE BY THE COUNTRY’S FOUNDING FATHER’S.

Nigerians have been urged to maintain the historic structures and statues put in place by the country’s founding father’s.

The District head of Bauchi Alhaji Nuru Adamu Jumba made the call when he granted audience to management of Bauchi State Tourism Bauchi in his office.

Alhaji Nuru Adamu Jumba explained that most of structures put in place by the the ancestors have been either neglected or replaced with modern structures.

He therefore called for the maintenances of historic structures in order to restore the country’s cultural heritage
The District Head commended the State Tourism Board on its effort towards reviving the state cultural heritage and called on the State Government to reposition the sector in order to boost the states economy.

Earlier the General Manager Bauchi State Tourism Board Muhammad Nasiru Yusuf said they were at the Head’s Palace to seek for the fatherly advise and areas of collaboration towards boosting the State cultural heritage.

Muhammad Nasir said the board was committed towards working with traditional Institution towards reviving and maintaining cultural heritage.
