NIGERIANS URGED TO EMULATE THE VIRTUES AND LEGACY OF SIR ABUBAKAR TAFAWA BALEWA .

The Minister of Information Alhaji Lai Muhammad has urged Nigerians to emulate the virtues and legacy of late Sir Abuabakar Tafawa Balewa.
Alhaji Lai Muhammad made the call at the third Annual Memorial Lecture and Prayers in honour of the late Prime Minister Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa held in Bauchi.
Represented by the Chief Executive National Troop of Nigeria Ahmad Muhammad Ahmad, the Minister said the late Prime Minsiter should be remembered for the legacy of advancing the mankind and the country at large.
Alhaji Lai Muhammad described the Prime Minister as a great leader who promotes National unity among people.
Earlier the State commissioner Ministry oof Tourism and Culture Dr. Usman Ahmad Giade said the day was organized to commemeorate, promote and educate the youngers generation on the legacy of late Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa.
Speaking on behalf of the family of late Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Hajiya Yelwa Tafawa Balewa expressed delight for the honour done her father and prayed Allah to reward them.
