NIPR: National Summit on Integration, Peace Building, Security To Hold in Bauchi.

The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) is organizing a National Summit on Integration, Peace Building and Security in Bauchi with a call for active participation of people towards proffering solutions to myriad of problems facing the country.
The Summit seeks to bring stakeholders on a roundtable to deliberate on issues that would ensure national cohesion, peace and development.
The Chairman Publicity Sub Committee of the Summit in Bauchi Alhaji Nuru Yusuf Kobi made the call on Iya Ruwa, a Globe FM Bauchi One-Hour Audience Participatory Programme.
Alhaji Nuru Kobi who doubles as the State Director National Orientation Agency (NOA) said Nigeria is faced with numerous challenges such as ethnicity, tribalism, insurgency, banditry among others, hence the resolve to organise the event.
He called on people from all works of life to avail themselves the opportunity and actively participate in the summit as well as make meaningful contributions for national discourse.
Another guest and State Secretary NIPR Tanimu Gambo said the Institute conceived the idea in view of lingering societal problems and the need to provide such platforms for deliberation between government, groups and individuals.
Tanimu Gambo said the summit which is to hold on the 3rd March this year, is to be attended by trade unions, professional bodies, government MDAs, traditional and religious leaders, students and the media.
Contributing to the Programme, Babangida Zungur, Hussaini Toro, Aaron Jonathan from Yelwa, Khadija from Fadaman Mada, Babangida from Gombe and Musa Noma Jari stressed the need for the organisers to discuss issues related to poor dispensation of justice, broken marriages and human rights violation among others.
