NMA Sensitizes Sa’adu Zungur School Students on Dental, Personal Hygiene.

Nigerian Medical Association, NMA, has conducted health talk on Dental Health and other Personal Hygiene issues for pupils and students of Sa’adu Zungur Model Primary and Secondary School in Bauchi metropolis.
The school children were taught how to take care of their teeth as part of activities lined up for the Association’s Health Physician Week.
The Association also conducted a Career Choice Talk for students of the school’s secondary section with a view to motivating them to be determined and prioritize medical courses to study for their future career.
Addressing the school children, the State Chairman of NMA, Dr. Adamu Sambo said the Association has chosen the school so as to catch the children young in view of their being fast in assimilation, particularly in the areas of dental hygiene and career choice.
Also speaking, Dentist with the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital, ATBUTH Bauchi, Dr. Auwalu Musa said dental hygiene was very simple as it requires neither pressure nor much of toothpaste.

Salamatu Moh’d Yusuf, Chioma Ruth Ekemeze and Hajara Muhammad Abubakar expressed delight over the health and career choice talk delivered and appreciated the NMA for choosing their school for the activity.
The students were given toothbrushes and sachet of toothpastes for free as provided by the NMA.
