NPC Local Government Controllers are undergoing zonal training in Bauchi state.

Controllers and other critical stakeholders of the National Population Commission NPC from three states of the northeast are under going three days workshop on the 2023 national population and housing census operations.
The participants drawn from Borno, Yobe and Bauchi states are being trained on modalities of the population and housing census exercise to be conducted this year.
Declaring the workshop opened the state NPC Federal Commissioner Alhaji Muhammad Ibrahim Darazo enjoined them to pay attention throughout the period of the training for the success of the exercise.
Alhaji Muhammad Ibrahim Darazo who addressed the participants virtually said the commission intended to conduct digital census hence the need for all stakeholders to strive hard in that direction.
On her part the NPC Centre Training Coordinator Hajiya Hafsat Hussaini said the aim of the training was to acquit and remind the participants on key issues they ought to know before the commencement of the actual population and housing census being get keepers in their local governments.
Hajiya Hafsat Hussaini said the participants have been drilled on their roles and other responsibilities shoulders on them as the 2023 population and housing census is going to be digital.
Some of the participants spoken to Sani Yunusa and Zainab Garba promised to be attentive throughout the period of the training.
