NTA ZDs, GMs, Senior Staff undergo training on Rudiments of Administrative.

The Nigerian Television Authority NTA says it is putting modalities in place towards strengthening the capacity of its Senior Officers from level 13 upward on the rudiments of administration for improved service delivery.

The Director General of the NTA Comrade Salihu Abdulhamid Dembos gave the indication while addressing participants virtually at a two day workshop on Administrative Procedure from seven centres across the country.

Comrade Salihu Dembos who emphasised the significance of a streamlined administrative procedures in organisational structure, also underscored the need for the participants to ensure the delivery of high calibre services through the organisation’s stakeholders.

He further charged them to craft a roadmap that leads to efficiency, reduce bottle necks and enhance decision making process.

In an interview with Radio Nigeria , the Chief Host and Northeast Zonal Director NTA Maiduguri Malam Muhammad Abubakar said the training seeks to equip Zonal and General Managers as well as other senior officers from level 13 and upward on how to remove all bureaucratic bottle necks.

Muhammad Abubakar who reminded the participants on the strategic importance of the training at this critical times, charged them to maximise the knowledge by training their subordinates and putting it into practice.

On her part, the Host of Northeast Workshop Centre and General Manager NTA Bauchi Hajiya Fati Isah thanked the management of the authority for organising, facilitating and choosing the station as host for the Zonal training.

The participants were drawn from NTA Maiduguri Zonal station, Borno, Bauchi, Yobe, Gombe, Adamawa and Taraba states NTA stations.
