NUBASS Lauds Gov Bala Mohammed’s Performance in Education Sector

The National Union of Bauchi State Students NUBASS has appreciated Governor Bala Mohammed led administration’s commitment in repositioning the education sector and improving quality of teaching and learning in the state.
The National President of the Union Comrade Hamza Muhammad Mai Kudi who led members of the Association on a solidarity visit to Government House Bauchi, said the Governor has performed beyond expectation in his first tenure and assured their support for his re-election.
Comrade Hamza Mai Kudi also commended the Governor for the regular payment of scholarship to indigenous students and accommodating youth and women in his government.
He used the opportunity to solicited for donation of official vehicle and rehabilitation of the Union’s National Secretariat for the smooth conduct of their activities.
Responding, the State Governor Bala Mohammed who assured to sustain gesture, called on the students to take advantage of the infrastructure provided to improve their academic performance.
Bala Mohammed announced donation of a vehicle and rehabilitation of the students’ secretariat as earlier requested by leadership of the union.
According to the Governor, arrangements would be made for the payment of 2023 scholarship before the General Elections.
