Participants at the just concluded Bauchi State Qur’anic Recitation Competition commended for exhibiting high sense of maturity

Abdulsamad Adamu Musa from Dass local government area has emerged the overall winner of the 36th edition of Bauchi state Quranic recitation competition in sixty hizib with Tafsir in mala category.

Similarly Amira Mohammad from Katagum local government area was the winner in female category Idris Bello from Zaki became first in sixty hizib without Tafsir and his female counterpart Khadija Musa Abba emerged first in female category.

Speaking at the closing ceremony at Misau the state Quranic recitation competition chairman Malam Mustapha Baba ielah who expressed delight for the successful completion exhibited high sense of maturity throughout the period.

In a remark the state commissioner Ministry of Religious Affairs and Social Development Alhaji Umar Babayo Kesa who commended all the stakeholders for championing the course of the completion called on people of the state to pray for the people administration to succeed.

The quest speaker at the occasion Dr Turaki Aliyu Misau dwelled on the importance of recitation the holy Quran and called on muslims to put into practice what the religion teachers.

The Emir of Bauchi Dr Rilwanu Sulaiman Adamu represented by the Emir of Misau Alhaji Ahmad Sulaiman called for attitudinal charge in the away of Allah among people to overcome the numerous challenges bejeweling the country.

Declaring the completion closed the state Governor Bala Mohammad represented by his deputy Senator Bala Tela pledged his administrations commmitment to support Islamic activities in the state.

First and second position to the completion went home with cars and others get consolation prices.
