The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Senatorial Candidate for Kebbi State, Alhaji Garba Musa Maidoki, says that the party faithfuls have demonstrated high level of patriotism in the struggle of liberating their Senatorial District from the current state of underdevelopment.
Musa Maidoki who stated this while addressing Newsmen in Zuru, said the people of Kebbi South have resolved to support the Peoples Democratic Party to put to an end the unbelievable torture the present APC-lead Government in the state made them pass through by underdeveloping the entire zone.
Maidoki said, the people of Yauri and Zuru emirates are passing through all forms of bitter experiences with little or no help at all from the State Government saying, Our people are been killed by bandits on regular basis, IDP camps keep swelling up, Farmlands were abandoned as well as vulnerable to all kinds of human and natural disasters.
“No reasonable Government will allow female students to spend nearly two years in the hands of terrorists without any sign of rescuing them. The present APC-lead Government just did that where it allowed Eleven FGGC Birnin Yauri female students are being tortured, raped, impregnated subjected to forced marriage.
He lamented over the deplorable condition of the roads, poor socioeconomic activities, collapsed agricultural projects, nonexistent female representation in governance as well as lack of rural transformation, describing the situation as a deliberate and calculated plan to marginalize the area.
According to him, people of Kebbi South Senatorial zone have answered the clarion call by parting ways with the state Government and would turn out enmass to vote PDP into office during the next general elections to inject new life into the minds and hearts of the common man living in the area.
Maidoki, therefore, called on his supporters to protect, defend and preserve their PVCs by denying any access their cards to any person even if it were in the name of financial support, palliatives, or loan package, adding that such actions were ploy to disenfranchise them and throw Kebbi South into perpetual doom.
