Plateau Bye-Elections: PDP Calls for Credible Polls.

Peoples Democratic Party, PDP wants the Independent National Electorate Commission INEC and the Security Agents to maintain neutrality during the House of Representatives and State Assembly’s Bye-elections slated for tomorrow Saturday in Plateau State.
The Co-Chairman, National Campaign Council for the Election Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State made the call in Jos during the party’s meeting ahead of the election.
The INEC has fixed Saturday twenty sixth February, 2022 for the Bye-elections in Bassa/Jos North and Pankshin South Federal and State Constituencies respectively following the demised of their representatives.
Bala Mohammed who expressed confidence that the party has produced better candidates for the elections, stressed the need for a level playing ground to guarantee peace during and after the elections.
The campaign Co-Chair who said the party has mobilized agents that will represent it at all the polling units, enjoined security and the election officials to provide opportunity for the electorates to vote candidates of their choice.
He also assured of the party’s readiness to co-operate and respect the constituted authorities towards consolidation of the democracy in the country.
The meeting features some National and State Leaders as well as the party’s candidates for the election.
