Ten Polio Survivors in Bauchi metropolis have benefited from free hand-powered wheel chairs donated by Rotary Club International as part of its humanitarian gesture.
The Beneficiaries who were identified and selected by the State Primary Health Care Development Agency, BSPHCDA expressed delight over the support and assured to put the wheel chairs into good use.

Saudat Galadima said the hand-powered wheel chairs would help reduce their transportation challenges and commended the donor and the BSPHCDA for finding them worthy to benefit.
The Executive Chairman of the Bauchi State Primary Health Care Development Agency, Dr Rilwanu Mohammed represented by a Deputy Director in the Agency, Mr. Yusuf Pate noted that the support of Rotary Club of Bauchi Central in many aspect particularly the eradication of Wild Polio Virus in the state cannot be underestimated estimated.
The President of the Rotary Club of Bauchi Central, Mr. Chukwunonso Nwobi urged the beneficiaries not to lose hope and confine themselves to begging on the street, instead they should engage in different trades and work hard to achieve their goals.
