President Muhammadu Buhari present twenty twenty two budget estimate of over sixteen trillion naira.
President Muhammadu Buhari has presented a total budget of sixteen point thirty nine trillion naira for the year twenty twenty tow to the National Assembly.He tagged the appropriation bill a Budget of Economic Growth and Sustainability.
President Buhari said the budget would ensure diversifying the economy, promoting MSME, with investment in critical infrastructure; strengthening security and ensuring good governance; enabling a vibrant, educated and healthy populace; reducing poverty; and minimizing regional, economic and social disparities.
According to the President, the administration will give top priority to internal security and remain committed to the security of life, property and investment nationwide.
He promised to support security forces, and ensure their welfare was give utmost attention.The Senate President, Ahmed Lawan, said the National Assembly is committed to passing the budget before the end of year.
