Reps Praise Governor Bala Mohammed’s Performance.

Members of the House of Representatives Subcommittee for the zonal public hearing on the review of the 1999 Constitution have expressed satisfaction with the performance of Governor Bala Mohammed in addressing infrastructural deficit in critical sectors.

They made the commendation after inspecting some of the completed and ongoing projects being executed by the Bala Mohammed led administration.

The Committee arrived the state ahead of the scheduled House of Representatives Zonal Public Hearing on the review of the 1999 Constitution which will compliment the one conducted by the Senate.

The projects inspected include sixteen point two killomitres Sabon Kaura to Jos road Byepass, Malam Goje to Bakin Kura and Gwan-gwan-gwa to Kofar Dumi road construction and well as the Buzaye reservoir under the state government’s urban water expansion project.

Addressing Journalists after the inspection, chairman of the committee Aminu Sulaiman from Kano state said the Governor has demonstrated that positive governance is possible in Nigeria by utilizing the limited resources in provision of projects that have direct impact on the citizens.

Aminu Sulaiman said Governor Bala Mohammed’s effort was coming when the  national assembly is working to review the Constitution for the betterment of Nigerians

While calling on his counterparts across the country to emulate his leadership style, the chairman of the committee advised the Governor to consolidate on the achievements.

Members of the committee have also used the opportunity to pay tribute to the tome of late first prime minister of Nigeria Sir. Abubakar Tafawa Balewa.
