SENATOR BINOS DISTRIBUTES ITEMS TO CONSTITUENTS.

The senator representing Adamawa South in the National Assembly, Senator Binos Dauda Yaroe , has distributed over one hundred Motorcycles to ward chairmen of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP across the nine local government areas that make up his constituency.

The senator flagged off the distribution of the motorcycles in his home town Mayo Belwa in the company of the state chairman of PDP and other top party officials and supporters.

Other items that were also distributed included more than two hundred sewing machines, one hundred and eighty-six bags of urea and PK fertilizer, nine Tiller machines, irrigation pumping machines, Grinding machines, Knapsacks, and deep freezers.

Senator Binos Dauda Yaroe who explained that most of these items will go to PDP party leadership and members at the local government level also pointed out that the gesture was to reward their hard work and loyalty to the party that had produced positive results in terms of the success of the party during the last general election, adding that there are items that would go to constituents who are not necessarily party members.

He stressed
that other programs like the free medical outreach, empowerment training programs among others were initiated to benefit the generality of his constituents, adding that this is the first time the party members are largely benefitting from his projects.

Senator Binos mentioned the categories of the beneficiaries to include PDP ward chairmen, local government youth leaders, women leaders, youth leaders at ward level, market women among others.

The lawmaker further explained that all the items were procured by Federal Government Agencies which all lawmakers were entitled to assist their constituents and alleviate poverty, especially on the grass root.

“We were given these items by federal government agencies. For example, the sewing machines and some of the water pumping machines were given to us by SDG while some of the items came from the North East Development Commission”

The senator appealed to the recipients of these items to make judicious use of them for the intended purpose.

In his remarks during the flag off of the distribution, the Adamawa state chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, Barrister A.T Shehu said he had been following the programs and activities of senator Binos Dauda Yaroe, expressing satisfaction with the performance of the senator saying he is an asset to the party.

“This is not the first time I have been witnessing and flagging off empowerment programs and health services that the senator has been doing to his constituency and this is encouraging and a move that will widen and strengthen democracy”

He appealed to the beneficiaries of the generosity of the senator not to sell the items given to them but use them for the betterment of themselves, their families, and their communities.
Some of the beneficiaries who could not contain their joy spoke excitedly to Fombina news.

The benefiting local government areas are Shelleng, Guyuk, Lamurde, Numan, Demsa, Mayo Belwa, Jada, Ganye, and Toungo.
