SMEDAN Trains and Disburses Cash to Cooperatives in Bauchi.

The Director General Small and Medium Scale Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria SMEDAN Dr. Umar Dikko Radda says the agency will continue to encourage Agro-business Development to facilitate  economic diversification agenda of the federal government.

He stated this at the closing ceremony and disbursement of empowerment grants to benefinetiaries of the Agro-business Development Programme in Bauchi State.

The Director General represented by a Board Member in the Agency Barrister Nathaniel Parah  said the move was to compliment the effort of President Muhammadu Buhari of lifting over one hundred million Nigerians out of Poverty
In their addresses, one of the facilitators at the training Aliyu Musa Kaita and the state Manager of the Agency Abdurrasheed Aliyu said the beneficiaries were trained on how to develop business ideas and implementation with a view to improve their economy.

They noted that officers from the agency will be visiting all the identified business locations to offer extension Services towards achieving the desired objectives.

Some of the beneficiaries who appreciated SMEDAN for the support, assured to make good use of the donation and knowledge acquired.

The event features presentation of certificates and cheques of over two hundred eighty thousand naira to each of the selected beneficiaries.
