Sustain the Spirit of Patriotism and Resilience – DG NYSC Charged Corps members

The Director-General of National Youth Service Corps Brigedia General Shuaibu Ibrahim has Charged the 2021 Corps members to Sustain Patriotism and Resilience, aimed at uplifting the well-being of the Nation.

The Director-General stated this during the Closing Ceremony of the 2021 Batch C Stream two Orientation Course Held at the Permanent Orientation Camp Kusalla Karaye Local Government Area of Kano state.

Brigadier General Shuaibu Ibrahim who was Represented by the NYSC Coordinator in Kano Hajiya Aisha Tata Mohammad said the scheme which was introduced decades age was targeted at uniting Nigerian youths irrespective of their Cultural or Religious Differences.

General Shuaibu Ibrahim noted that Nigerians expected the Corps members to Contribute immensely towards the progress and development of their Fatherland.

He enjoined the Corp members to perform their Duties with Diligence and be Guided by the Provisions of the NYSC Act Bye-Laws geared towards Achieving the set objectives

“You are expected to integrate into your Host Communities and also respect their cultures and Customs, I urge you not to engage in their Local Politics “

The Directory General Encouraged the Corps Members Dassers to build on the Skills acquired under the NYSC Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneur Development Programs, geared towards becoming sereliantent and employers of Labour.

” I would like to reiterate our warning Against unauthorized journeys and night Trips, I advised you to always cut Short your trips from Six O’Clock in the evening and pass the night at military barracks and other locations officially designated and safe, and ensure you board vehicles at approved Motor Parks”

The Ceremony was attended by the Head of Security Agencies and other stakeholders.
