The government at all levels has been Requested to Establish a Modern Special Education Center for the Blind.

Government at all levels have been requested to provide scholarship and establish a modern special education center for the deaf to enhanced teachings and learning.
The National Amir Alfurqan Deaf Islamic Daawa Association Malam Salisu Jibrin Zaria who made the call at closing ceremony of the 14th National workshop on Arabic signs language said the call became imperative considering how the deaf Muslims were left behind .
Malam Salisu Zaria said that Deaf Muslims always attend Islamic gatherings, prayers, Ramadan Tafsir without understand what is being discussed hence the need for Government to look into it.
“There is need for Deaf Muslims to be educated in both Islamic and Arabic language for them to practice Islam effectively”
He explained that when provided it would enable the deaf develop Arabic sign language as well as have adequate Islamic Knowledge to enable them practice Islam perfectly.
In their separate remarks, the State Chairman Bauchi State Association for the Deaf Safiyanu Muhammad and the Chairman Association of persons living with disability Ibrahim Muhammad said the workshop would go a long way to enlighten the Deaf and called the participants to step down what they learnt to others.
The State Chairman Council of Ulama of the Jamaatu Izalatu Bidiah Waikamatuss Sunnah JIBWIS Shiek Salihu Sulaiman Ningi called for support to people with disabilities particularly Deaf to enable them compete favourably with their counterparts across the world.
“You have lots of potentials in which others can tap from you ,you should not underestimate your selves Allah has given you wisdom so be proud of it”
Shiek Salihu Ningi wants Government to provide them with necessary needs to enable them acquire sound Islamic Knowledge .
Highlight of the event was the Recitation of the Glorious Qur’an by Deaf people through sign language.
