The six Northeastern Governors under the aegis of the Northeast Governors Forum will converge today in Bauchi for the fourth meeting of the forum.

The six Northeastern Governors under the aegis of the Northeast Governors Forum will converge in Bauchi for the fourth meeting of the forum.

During the meeting, the Governors alongside other critical stakeholders for the development of the region, are expected to discuss and proffer solution to the challenges effecting  the development of the states.

The Chairman of the Forum and Governor of Borno State Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum who is to preside the two day meeting is expected to address journalists on their resolutions.

Our correspondent Isiyaka Wunti reports that Secretaries to the State Governments have earlier arrived the state to prepare the session with Secretariat work before the formal commencement of the meeting.


The last forum’s meeting was held in Yola, the Adamawa state capital where issues related security, economy and how to address education backwardness in the region dominated the session
