THE ZONAL DIRECTOR FRCN NORTH EAST ZONE ASSUMED DUTY.

The newly appointed Zonal Director Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria FRCN North east Zone Barrister Babayo Askira has assumed duty with a call on staff to be punctual, hardworking productive and exhibit high sense of professionalism in the discharge of their duties.
Barrister Askira who made the call shortly after assuming the mantle leadership of the zonal station in his office also promised to create conducive atmosphere and provide equipment to staff for effective service delivery.
Barrister Babayo Askira cautioned the staff against laxity and absenteeism, however wanted that anybody found abusing the professional ethics of Radio Nigeria in the discharge of the assigned responsibilities would not be spared.

He said he was aware of the challenges facing the zonal station that include lack of transmitter and office accommodation and assured that the zone office will commence operation.
The North East Zonal Director also promised to set up a committee with the aim of improving revenue generation of the zonal station for enhances operation.
Earlier the Acting Zonal Director Engineer Basariyu Danbaba Hassan described the new Zonal Director as dedicated person and urged the staff to give the substantive Zonal Director maximum support and cooperation to reposition the zonal office.
Speaking on behalf of General managers, Management and Staff of all FM Station under the zone, the General manager Globe FM Bauchi Malam Muhammad Aminu Abdullahi congratulated the Zonal Director for his appointment and assured him of the staff support for the progress of the North East Zone of FRCN.
Until his appointment Barrister Babayo Askira was the Deputy Director Legal Directorate of the FRCN Headquarters Abuja.
