Tinubu, Shettima Better Choice For Nigerians- Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari says the All Progressive Congress, APC, Presidential and Vice Presidential candidates Ahmed Bola Tinubu and Senator Kashim Shettima, are the rightful Candidates for Nigerians to be voted into power in the forthcoming general election.

President Buhari stated this while presenting the candidates to the people Yobe at the State APC presidential mega rally held in Damaturu, the state capital.

He explained that electing the APC candidates would be a process that will continue with the good policies and programmes of the present administration.

President Buhari who described education as key to success, urged people of the northeast region the most affected areas by the Boko Haram insurgency to enroll their children into both Western and Islamic education to protect them from any act of misguided by anyone.

Buhari added that his administration will use the Nigeria Army, Police and other relevant security agencies to ensure peacefully coexistence in the country.

In his campaign promises, the presidential flag bearer of the APC Bola Ahmed Tinubu, said he would revive the economy, create jobs for youths and develop agriculture if elected next President of Nigeria.

Speaking at the event, the state Governor Hon. Mai Mala Buni stated that lack of awareness, ignorances and poverty are the key factors leading to Boka Haram activities in the Northeast region.

He added that the people of the state will not forget President Buhari’s administration for it commitment towards ensuring that the peace had fully return to the area.

Highpoint of the event is the presentation of party flags by President Buhari to the presidential candidate Bola Tinubu, his vice Kashim Shettima and Governor Mai Mala Buni.
