As part of his efforts to strengthen and uplift education,the member Representing Toro Federal Constituency Hon. Dabo Ismail Haruna has announced plans to provide scholarships to students of federal and State Universities.
The Scholarship scheme is tagged as “HASKE SCHOLARSHIPS 2024”. Haske has been a platform that provides incentives and empowerments to youths and Women in Toro Federal Constituency long before his emergence as elected member earlier this year.
He made the announcement on Wednesday on his official facebook handle “Hon. Ismail Dabo” reiterating his commitment to support students studying Science Technology,Engineering,Mathematics,Business/Entrepreneurship and Arts within the federal and State Universities.
According to Hon. Dabo who double as Deputy Chairman House Committee on Public Assets said the scholarships are in first and second categories.The first term as major will focus on
Sciences,Technology ,Engineering and
The second category tagged as Scholarship for women will focus its attention on female students only aim at increasing the women participation in tertiary institutions of learning. The member is of the belief that, educating more women in the field of science,Technology,Engineering,Mathematics, Business/Entrepreneurship and Arts will enhance productivity in Toro Federal Constituency.
In order to ensure transparency, accountability and fairness to all students of Toro Federal Constituency,the applications are to be forwarded through the office of the Senior adviser on Education, Office of the Member Representing Toro Federal Constituency,
The statement further asked the applicants to attach their admission letter,last Semester result,indigene certificate through the constituency email address; email@example.com for scrutining and selection.
Dabo promised to leverage on his position to provide more educational supports and legislative interventions that boost the educational standard of Toro Federal Constituency while soliciting for prayers and understanding from the constituents. He added.
