We are Committed to Sports Development-Bauchi SSG

The Bauchi State government has expressed commitment towards promoting youth active engagement in sporting activities for the socioeconomic property.
The secretary to the state government Barr. Ibrahim Muhammad Kashim gave the commitment while presenting a trophy for the upcoming Governor’s Competition organized by a private body, Bako’s International Consult in collaboration with the state government.
Speaking at the occasion, the SSG Barrister Ibrahim Muhammad Kashim said football is now a global business that contributes positively to the economic growth and development of any society.
Ibrahim Kashim who charged them to mobilize youth from across the twenty local government areas of the state to participate in the tournament maintained that football is a security tools that will address the challenges of unemployment and youth restiveness.
He also called on the youth to avail themselves with the opportunity adding that the state government will introduce Inter-Primary School games to encourage grassroot sports development.
In his address, the Managing Director of the Bako’s International Consult Alh Haruna Bako appreciated the state government’s commitment towards repositioning the sector.
He assured of a successful tournament that will complement government’s efforts in providing better opportunity for youth to be engage in useful ventures.
