The Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria, PSN Bauchi State Chapter, has today concluded its series of activities with awards presentation to three reputable members of the society in recognition of their contributions.

They are Pharmacists Abdulkadir Galadi and Dr Paul Gah, who both recently retired from service, as well as a serving assistant director with the Pharmacist Council of Nigeria (PCN) Bakwa Nenlep, who was recently transferred from Bauchi to Adamawa State.

The three-day activities was in commemoration of this year’s World Pharmacists Day with the theme “Pharmacy United in Action For Healthier World”, which is celebrated annually on the 25th September.

The Chairman of PSN, Pharmacist Ibrahim Muhammad said the decision to honour the celebrants was in view of their roles in the development of pharmaceutical practice in the state and the country at large.

In separate remarks, the Celebrants Dr Paul Gah, Pharmacists Abdulkadir Galadi and Bakwa Nenlep, appreciated the state chapter of the PSN for finding them worthy for the awards and pledged continued support and contribution to the practice for the development of the country.

Representative of the Chairman, Nigeria Medical Association (NMA), State Chapter, and Secretary of the association, Dr Kabir Abdullahi as well as the State Chairman of National Association of Nigeria Nurses and Midwives (NANNM), Ibrahim Maikudi assured continuous partnership with the PSN towards ensuring service delivery to the people.

The event had in attendance pharmacists from the academia, hospitals and private sector, where several goodwill messages were offered.
