Yobe Gov’t Directs Contractors to Ensure Speedy Completion of Ongoing Projects

The Yobe state high-powered delegation led by the State Deputy Governor Alhaji Idi Barde Gubana has embarked on the inspection of the ongoing Projects carried out by the present administration in the state.

Radio Nigeria Sunshine FM Correspondent, Reports that the projects are expected to be commissioned by President Muhammadu Buhari who will be in the state for a one-day working visit on the 10th of January 2023.

Receiving the delegation at the Yobe cargo international airport, the Commissioner Ministry of transport and energy, Abdullahi Usman Kukuwa briefed the committee and assured them that the airport will be fully ready before the date.

The delegation also visited Damaturu Ultra Modern Market and the newly constructed Maternity Paediatric and newborn complex at the University Teaching Hospital in Damaturu.

It later proceeded to Model School in New bra-bra quarters as well as August 27 stadium Damaturu to assess the level of preparation to ensure the successful hosting of the President.

Speaking on the visit, The state Deputy Governor also the leader of the delegation expressed satisfaction with the level of work done so far on all the projects site visited by the team.

He further directed the contractors to hasten up to finish the remaining projects on time before the due date of the arrival of the President into the state.
