Youths and concerned citizens in the southern part of Yobe State have converge in Potiskum to drum support for Senator Mohammed Hassan Dambu to recontest the seat of Yobe South Senatorial District come 2023.
The Youths Under the auspices of the All Progressive Congress said the decision was taken after due meetings, yearning and consultations across the zone.
The forum which was held at the APC secretariat in Potiskum Local government reviewed some of the development projects carried out and implemented by Senator Hassan Dambu when he was the serving senator under the Peoples Democratic party PDP from 2015 to 2019
In the separate contributions, the concerned citizens highlighted some of the developmental projects executed by Senator Mohammed Hassan Dambu from 2015 to 2019, which include Constructions of 80 beds capacity hospital, 500 students capacity I.C.T centre in Potiskum town, Construction of Nursery, Primary and Secondary School with jummat mosque, .Construction of solar powered water boreholes in the region.
Other projects carried out include Youth and Women empowerment, Scholarship award, Vocational training and.sponsorship of orphans
The Forum commended Governor Mai Mala Buni for the role he played towards revolving the party’s, disagreement at the state and National level
The meeting, had an attendance of hundreds of youths and concerned citizens from across all the southern Local governments of Yobe which include Fune, Fika, Nangere and Potiskum.
