500 students to benefit from Haske Scholarships in Toro Federal Constituency.

The member Representing Toro Federal Constituency Hon. Dabo Ismail Haruna has announced plans to upset the cost of 2024 UTME to 500 indigenous students of Toro Local Government Area of Bauchi State.
The member made this disclosure via his official facebook handle “Hon. Ismail Dabo” on Wednesday rolling certain criteria for the selection to ensure that the beneficiaries cut across the 17 Wards of Toro Federal Constituency.
Apart from the payment of UTME for the students, there will be free classes and computer training in some designated centres to equip the selected students with basic knowledge of computer operation for better performance.
According to him, the requirements for eligibility and qualifications are Indigene Certificate of Toro LGA, 7 Credits including English and Mathematics ,Seven Credits including English and Mathematics in Mock Examination while science Students will be accorded special attention.
The Member also approved Tilden Fulani, Magama,Toro,Rimin Zyam,Nabardo,Gumau, Rishi and Tulu as training centres for the aforementioned excercise.The program will be coordinated under Haske Scholarships special program aim at supporting parents to meet the dream of their children considering the current Economic realities of the country.
He promised to offer additional scholarships to all students who may score 200 and above in their UTME to further their education. He warn the members of the committee not to extol money from the students as this Program is completely free of charge.
