Miyatti Allah To Address Carrying Of Weapons By Fulani Herders In Yobe State.

Miyetti Allah Kautal Horre Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria says it will ensure that Fulani men desist from moving along with knives, when coming into cities, markets or during festivities.

The Zone B Chairman, Miyatti Allah Kautal Horre, Shugaba Ya’u Ngalda made the disclosure, shortly after taking Oath of Office, for another term.

While appreciating the people of the state for the trust they bestowed on them, Alh Ya’u promised to partner with all traditional and religious leaders to make peace and unity reign between Farmers, Herders and other members of the society.

In his vote of thanks, the Potiskum Chairman of Miyatti Allah, Hon Isyaku Ibrahim commended the present administration for its developmental projects.

Alh Ibrahim advise the state and federal governments to resuscitate the Nomadic Education programme for the benefits of people living in hard to reach places.

In an interview with newsmen, the Potiskum LG Secretary of Miyatti Allah, Alh.Usman Bello Usman said issues related to drug abuse, dressing, illiteracy, unemployment, political aparthy, Armed Robbery and Thuggery would also be addressed amongst Fulani youths.

While calling on Fulani youths to own a voter card to elect leaders of their choice, Usman said Miyatti Allah under their watch would address every dispute between Farmers and Herders to enhance peace and security at the grassroot.

Earlier in his remarks the Zonal Secretary Amadu Mamu, who spoke on behalf of the new executive in Fika, Fune and Nangare Promised to take along every member of the association.

He maintained that doors are always opened for advice, opinions and contributions towards the development of the association and the country at large.

The Oath of Office was administered by the state chairman of Miyatti Allah Kautal Horre Alh Ore Bello at the banquet hall of the Federal College of Education Potiskum.

He noted that the executives would run the affairs of the association for another term.
